Habitat

India’s sixth largest city is situated in the heart of the Deccan Plateau, at a height of 521 metres. It flanks the Musi River to which it owes its existence. Located in the south central part of India, this city has a distinct identity of its own, amalgamating the cultures of north and south. A cosmopolitan city, Hyderabad is a centre of attraction for its blend of Moghul grandeur and modernity.

Secunderabad is a newer sibling of Hyderabad – a city that has grown from obscure beginnings as a British Garrison to a bustling, crowded city on the other side of Husain Sagar. Secunderabad may have grown but it still predominantly remains a cantonment, a major station for the Indian Army.
