| Haryana,
the rich agricultural state in Northern India, was a part of Punjab till 1966. They share
history and, most importantly, the capital city Chandigarh. Primarily
an agricultural state, life in Haryana revolves around its villages and fields. One of its
cities, Gurgaon, has become strategically important with corporate houses and
multinational companies setting up their head offices and factories here because of its
proximity to Delhi, the national capital. |
 |
| Swanky
office buildings, state of the art factories and plush housing colonies dominate
Gurgaons skyline. Tourist attractions arent many in Haryana with most of them
centred in Chandigarh, the capital. |
